Hi, welcome to my portfolio website. Yes, this is a portfolio website so you won't be finding any blog entries here k? great! So now who am I?

I'm Joan Mendez a 22 year old Filipino Multimedia Artist. Yea, I'm pretty darn proud of my roots cos I got this so called "Filipino Pride" and I also have a big love for Design & Arts. I specialize in Graphic Design, Photography, Web & Interactive but I'm interested in several others. I took up Multimedia Arts at De La Salle - College of Saint Benilde. There, I learned to develop several creative skills such as Graphic Design, Photography, Web Design & Development, Interactive Authoring, Motion Graphics, Video Production, 2D & 3D Animation and even Sound Design. Basically, I am familiar with the design programs related to it. After graduating, I took up some web design workshops to nourish my web design skills. I figured that the learning process there is never ending that's why I continue exploring.

I was able to practice my creative skills by doing different freelance projects. I'm flexible enough to work from the Artsy Fartsy to the Corporate type of projects. I do not only design, I also conceptualize. I exert skills, love, love & love in every project. Be it big or small, I love them all!

I always make it a point that I keep my feet on the ground. I may not yet be the best of the best but I dream of becoming one. Hopefully someday but for now I'll just take the necessary steps.
